Corporate report: HMRC People Survey results: 2016

The 2016 survey is HMRC’s eighth annual Civil Service People Survey.

HMRC’s employee engagement index has increased by 2% to 47%, its highest point ever and with positive improvements against all nine engagement drivers. The increase places us 12% points away from the 59% Civil Service benchmark.

The response rate for this year was 69%, the highest out of the ‘big five’ departments – the first time HMRC has achieved this.
