National Statistics: Inheritance tax statistics: Table 12.6 – assets in estates with tax liabilities by gender, age and marital status of deceased

This table includes all estates on HMRC’s databases for people who died in the tax year 2014 to 2015 and were liable for an inheritance tax charge. It shows how many of the estates owned each type of asset and the total value of these assets.
